M6L-9X is a magnetic field shielding foil designed for the mitigation of low-frequency magnetic fields. By combining 6 ultra-thin shielding foils, a higher protective effect is achieved compared to a single thick plate. The double-sided lamination makes the material highly resistant and ideal as an intermediate layer for roof or floor constructions. While single-layer application offers an optimal price-performance ratio, multi-layering can be used for higher magnetic flux densities.
Previously available only in fixed plate dimensions, the material is now available as flexible roll stock in linear meters. One roll has a maximum length of 18 meters. This allows for versatile use on small surfaces in private settings as well as on large areas in construction, commerce, or industry. Numerous application possibilities also exist in the field of mobility, such as in electric vehicles (EVs), vans, motorhomes, and caravans.

Processing the M6L Shielding Series
Caution: Risk of injury from cuts!
The M6L series can be cut using high-quality scissors. The cut edges are sharp as a knife and must be protected immediately after cutting, for example, with fabric adhesive tape. Cut-resistant gloves must be worn during processing!
Ideally, the installation should be planned so that cutting is minimized.
When applied to large wall surfaces, it should be noted that the foil acts as a vapor barrier.
Processing with Adhesive:
An adhesive capable of bonding the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) lamination film should be selected. High-viscosity construction adhesives are available for solid surfaces, or flexible plastic adhesives for applications such as under car carpets. The instructions of the adhesive manufacturer must be followed.
Processing via Stapler or Nailer:
On suitable substrates, installation with an electric stapler or nailer is recommended. For a single layer including overlap, a medium-priced electric stapler is sufficient; for two or more layers, a professional nailer is required. The shielding surface must overlap by at least 2 cm.
Multi-layer Installation:
Foil layers should always be installed in a staggered manner, ensuring that the surfaces cover underlying overlaps.

Cancellation of Order | Request a Free Test Sample
If the shielding material is customized and cut from the roll at the customer’s request in increments of 1,0 linear meters, a return or cancellation of the order is not possible. For comparison purposes, it is possible to request a free material sample of the related magnetic field foils M2A or M2L – please request this BEFORE ORDERING customized goods!
All shielding materials are highly developed special products with outstanding performance. The resale of custom-cut shielding material of this performance class is not possible or only possible with significant economic loss, and therefore legally falls under the exception to the right of withdrawal. By ordering custom-cut linear meters, the right of withdrawal expires; the order implies acceptance of the cancellation policy and a waiver of the right of return.
Fairness in Product Pricing
Small quantity surcharges for quantities up to 3 linear meters have been removed for reasons of transparency and fairness. The price per linear meter is therefore always the same, with price advantages for larger quantities. To cover handling and packaging, a flat fee of € 6,90 is charged per cut.
